"I have been going to Kristen for the past 6 months. When I first went to her I wasn't sure what to expect. I wanted to lose
weight for my daughter's wedding is what I told her which was 10 months away. She asked me what my goal was, and I
said I'd like to get to 150 lbs. She told me that was totally achievable.
So Kristen told me how many calories I should be eating each day and what types of foods would be better choices for me
to eat. I'm a very picky eater so I wasn't sure this was going to work. But I tried a few of her suggestions, like eating more
vegetables for my lunches and eating more filling breakfasts. She also introduced me to My Fitness Pal to log all of my calories.
The next time I went to Kristen I had lost a couple of pounds! She was so encouraging. I thought I would have lost more, but
she explained that it's much healthier to lose 1/2 to 1 lb per week, I'm more likely to keep it off that way. So I felt really good about
this. Then she explained if I introduced a little bit of exercise each week I would start to see more results. I'm not much
of an exercise person. But I thought ok, she only wants me to do it 2 -3 days a week, I can do this. So I did.
Each time I went to her she made me feel like I could accomplish whatever our goal was for that 6 week period. Now here I am 6
months later I actually enjoy exercising and my blood pressure is the best it has been in years; and I'm down to 143 lbs and off of one of my blood pressure medicines and feeling better than I have in years. I have more energy, I don't feel bloated or uncomfortable from the foods I eat anymore and I love to wear jeans again!"

“I cannot recommend Kristen enough. I have struggled with disordered eating since I was a child. I have seen many professionals about it, and Kristen is the only I would recommend. First of all, she is kind. When you make mistakes or completely go off the rails, Kristen is happy to help while being super motivating. She has never acted disappointed, regardless of how badly I have screwed up. Second, she’s flexible. She understands that something may start off working, but then something changes in life and a different game plan is needed. Third, she works to make you capable of having a healthy relationship with food and exercise without being dependent on her. Her idea is not to make you NEED her forever. She teaches you and wants you to succeed. Lastly, as much as I would love to say it’s all about food and exercising...it’s not. Kristen has helped me in so many areas of my life...frankly, I can’t think of one she hasn’t improved. Do yourself a favor and work with Kristen — you won’t regret it!!"
